International Nannies & Homecare Ltd. was founded by Manuela Gruber Hersch in 1998. Manuela came to Canada in 1985 as an overseas nanny from the beautiful city of Salzburg, Austria.
Manuela worked as a live-in nanny in Ontario and Quebec before re-locating to Vancouver, BC in 1988. During her time as a nanny, Manuela encountered firsthand how some nanny agencies conduct their business—poor customer service. This, coupled with hearing about friends and families experiences, encouraged Manuela to start a personable and professional nanny agency in Vancouver, with a focus on providing excellent service to both nannies & families.
Her vision became reality in 1998 when International Nannies & Homecare Ltd. was created. The agency’s excellent reputation is built on honesty and integrity. Manuela and her Canada wide placement coordinators have earned the trust of thousands of families across Canada over the years.
Manuela has two daughters and has had three live-in nannies herself; therefore, she knows that hiring a nanny is one of the most important decisions a family will ever make.
